Youth Human Trafficking Toolkit for Educators
The Youth Human Trafficking Toolkit for Educators is a response and screening toolkit designed for school-based mental health professionals, nurses, McKinney-Vento homeless liaisons, social workers, and counselors to recognize and respond to youth who may be at risk of human trafficking.
The toolkit includes practical strategies for identifying red flags, understanding risk factors, and implementing a school-based response protocol that prioritizes student safety and support. Also included in the toolkit is a trauma-informed screening questionnaire that helps evaluate risk levels and identify additional support and safety needs of students.
